Terms & Condition


These terms and conditions are bound to be agreed by one who (The Service Recipient) hire the moving services offered by Best Home Packers and Movers. These terms and conditions are coincided with the services and will be enforceable until the completion of the service you have taken.


We are not common carriers and accept no obligation as such. Throughout the discretion of our services, we reserve the right to refuse or deny to quote the carriage of any item or goods for any person.


You agree & acknowledge that:

  1. You will not hold us liable for any damage caused to your Goods arising as a result of them not being adequately protected and appropriately packed as required in condition
  2. You must advise us of any fragile goods, or goods requiring special treatment, prior to the commencement of the Move.


  1. We will provide moving services through the transport channels, labor, and moving expertise, at par with only the given terms and conditions applicable.
  2. We will only add packaging services when these are specifically quoted for you or by you.
  3. We can anytime hire a contractor or subcontractors to perform the move wholly or partially.


  1. Service will be charged as per our hourly rates
  2. Payment could be upfront or made enduring the move. The payment duration and mode will be solely decided and asked by us. We have all rights to take the items and goods under our custody until the payment is made.
  3. Applicable for Local moves - Cancellation of a booking must be completed before 48 business hours prior to the date of booking. Any cancellations after this time will be subject to a charge equal to the call out and return fee for that particular booking.
  4. Applicable for Interstate moves - Cancellation of an interstate booking must be done before 3 days prior to the date of booking. Any deposit paid will be considered as cancellations fees after this time.

5. What Will We Do

We shall:

  1. Pack the goods, if requested and we have agreed to do so.
  2. Remove them at the agreed time and date and deliver to the delivery address.
  3. Unpack them, if requested and we have agreed to do so.

6.Customer’s responsibility

It is Customer’s responsibility to:

  1. Obtain at your own expense all documents, permits, licenses, customs documents necessary for the move to be completed.
  2. Be present or represented during the collection and delivery of the removal. Take all reasonable steps to ensure that nothing that should be removed is left behind and that nothing is taken away in error.
  3. Arrange proper protection for goods left in unoccupied or unattended premises or where other people such as, but not limited to, tenants and workmen are or will be present.
  4. Empty, properly defrost and clean refrigerators and deep freezers. We are not responsible for the contents.
  5. Provide us with a contact address for correspondence during removal transit and/or storage of goods.
  6. Where We provide You with inventories, receipts, waybills, job sheets or other relevant documents You will ensure that they are signed by You or Your authorized representative as confirmation of collection or delivery of the Goods.
